Department Information

The art department at Mac consists of two art instructors, one of whom is a practicing artist represented in some of Canada's most important commercial galleries and with work in many corporate and private collections.

The department also has two classrooms, or studio spaces, one of them with two stories.

The students produce year end art shows, exhibitions throughout the year and set designs for school plays.

Department goals

The goal of the department is to produce quality, original art works that can compete with the best in any high school anywhere.
