Department Goals
The department's goal is to provide students with experiential learning opportunities by allowing them to explore a variety of business subjects, job placements and transportation technology.
Why Business, Co-Operative Studies and Transportation Technology?
- The business studies program will build a strong foundation for those who wish to move on to further study and training in specialized areas such as:
- Management
- International Business
- Marketing
- Accounting
- Entrepreneurship
- The business and co-operative studies program will also provide practical skills for those who wish to move directly into the world of business.
- The Transportation Technology courses, let students learn about automobiles in theory and practice. Students will work on cars in a fully outfitted automotive shop. The focus of the courses in this area is on developing practical skills that can lead to being eligible for further education or apprenticeship programs and eventually result in a career in the automobile industry.
