- Phys E.D. Baseball team questioned with the number of funds allotted it is too costly to run everything. They need teams and activities that involve many children instead of a few. $500 allowed for each team. Parent requested that more funding for sports programs be found. Parent noted that when teams are cut, school spirit is cut. Rugby was cut due to the same decisions. The question was asked as to why students don’t have a say in what’s cut and what isn’t. As a matter of public relations, two teams cancelled the same year are not good. Replaced with intramural; Dodgeball, basketball etc. Robotics and Auto had nothing to do with these being cancelled. Phys. Ed department will meet with the principal to discuss teams and activities for next year and these will be published in the agenda.
